"Buying The Best Paintball Gun"

So,you've made up your mind, your going for it.
No more renting guns at the paintball field or old loaners.
You're going to buy your First Paintball Gun. You don't have
a ton of cash to throw down but your ready to buy now.

Where to start is the question. What's the best paintball gun for you?
What type of paintball are you interested in? Target practice,
woods ball, speedball, scenario, what's it going to be?
How often will you actually go out and use the marker?
What is the absolute most you can spend, considering
there will be some other gear you'll need as well.
There are many types of guns to choose from but being the Nube,
which guns will suit your situation best?

Of course we all want the best paintball gun when we start out, all the bells and whistles.Yep, really complex and when it breaks we're boned. lol
Maybe something simple, reliable and easy to upgrade, you know, until
you see what kind of commitment you're willing to put into this sport.

To begin with figure on spending around a 100.00 (at least) for a
good mask, tank and hopper which of course you'll need to get started
playing in the woods or on the field. A decent pair of pants, a jersey
and a pair of good boots may come in handy. Hey, we haven't gotten
to the gun yet ! Hold on, we're getting there.

Ok, right off the bat lets eliminate the high end professional
grade markers, we're talking rec ball here.Nube rec ball at that.
We want reliable, upgradable and inexpensive, we don't do cheap.
That narrows the field considerably, leaving three good choices.
The Tippmann Markers, the Spyder Markers(Kingman) and the Ion
Markers (Smart Parts). All three of these would be good choices
for a beginner not wanting to break the bank.

Let's start with the least expensive markers, the Spyder
Paintball Markers. The Spyder MX,TL-X and the Pilot series are
good beginner markers. These guns are light and more suited
to speedball although they can be used effectively for what ever
style you enjoy. These markers are upgradeable and many players
start out with a Spyder paintball gun. These markers are also
easier for a beginner to work on than the Tippmanns or Ions.

Tippman paintball guns are a heavier marker and more suited for
wooodsball but again can be used for anything you like once you've
adapted them to your needs. The Tippman A 5 paintball gun and the
tippman X7 paintball gun both are considered very reliable
and upgradeable as well. The Tippman custom 98 paintball gun is a
lighter marker and is also a contender. The real selling point with
the Tippmann line is reliability.

Lastly, the Smart Parts Ion Paintball Markers are fast, smooth, quiet
and have an amazing amount of quality upgrades. Speedballers love
these markers. Maybe not as easy to maintain and work on as the
Spyder and the Tippmann but many prefer them.

So, that gives you three solid choices to explore and there are others
that I'm sure someone will swear by but you can discover them as
you do your research. You will research the guns, will you not...lol
Scour the web, hit the local stores (don't let the sales person pressure
you into a sale, wait) then check eBay of course.

You can also get package deals on all of these markers and probably
save some money there. The paintball packages will usually include the
marker,mask,hopper and tank.

All in all, 200.00 to 400.00 probably get you a pretty good beginner
package. You could spend less and buy used, just understand what it is
that your getting. Will you get a warrantee, guarantee, refund if doa,
be sure to ask up front. Always ask for free shipping too. :)

There's plenty of good Paintball equipment available, just dig a little,
ask around and be sure to check out our ebay auctions. I'm sure you'll find the best paintball gun for you.

Good luck.
